1) Screening with Dr. Samantha Carella (fee applies*)
We strive to meet the needs of all our students at YTCTE. As part of our application process, each applicant to our elementary school division meets with Dr. Samantha Carella, a Pediatric Psychologist, for an academic evaluation (approximately $200). This helps ensure the best educational experience for your child.

After you’ve submitted your child’s application, please contact Dr. Carella’s office at (305) 936-1002 to schedule your child’s meeting.

2) Interview with our Principal
3) ACE Resource evaluation (if needed*)
Every child learns at their own unique pace. If your child needs a little extra attention to acquire the tools and skills they need to thrive in the classroom, we may have your family meet with our Academic Coaching and Enrichment (ACE) Resource Program Director.
